Palesa Madisakwane has revealed the behind-the-scenes action she experienced while shooting with the cast of The River, assuming the role of chorister and conductor, Cressida.

Palesa Madisakwane took to Instagram on Monday, 31 May 2021, to showcase the behind-the-scenes action she experienced as The River’s Cressida. Madisakwane made her cameo appearance on the telenovela when she gate-crashed the rehearsal of the Refilwe Choir to lambaste Rakgadi, played by Tsholofelo Matshaba.

The man who was killed by Rakgadi in an act of self-defence was Cressida’s husband. However, in the current storyline, Cressida is presented as a power hungry choir conductor who attempts to win the choir competition by sabotaging the Refilwe Choir.

In the videos shared by Madisakwane, she revealed having bonded with her rival in the story, Flora, played by Tinah Mnumzana. Moreover, her most recent post affirmed her continued love for the arts, as she has not been a part of a production since the end of Living The Dream With Somizi.
